Today I will bind my will with cords of love to the altar of the Lord as a living sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving, and of my commitment to be offered up to God’s will. And, because I am weak and faint hearted, ask the Lord to make those cords strong and lasting.
God is the Lord, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.
Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.
O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Today I will bind myself to God’s altar with cords of thanksgiving.
