Avoid The Trap: Seek God For Who He Is

Today I will seek God for who He is, not for what He can do for me. I will avoid the trap of seeking a relationship with the things God gives me and not God himself. And, like Baruch, be content with the part God has given me to play.

Matthew 6:33
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Should you (Baruch) then seek great things for yourself? Do not seek them.
