Today I will ask to feel God’s presence in my life at all times, not only in times of trouble (Psalm 38) that He may rescue me, but also to share in joy and prosperity, to heighten my joy and also to guard against presumption.

“Forsake me not (do not abandon or leave me), for my path is dangerous, and full of snares, and I cannot do without thy guidance.” Spurgeon on May 25

Psalm 38: 21-22

Lord, do not forsake me;

    do not be far from me, my God.

Come quickly to help me,

    my Lord and my Savior.

KJV

Today I will ask God to accompany me to His altar, for the path that leads through life is full of snares.
