Today I will stand before God and ask Him to show me, like Scrooge, what life without Him would be like: past, present, and future. I pray that this knowledge that surpasses knowledge will direct me to a life of fruitfulness; I do not want my life to be a broken branch that withers and dies.
For the plain fact is that apart from me you can do nothing at all. The man who does not share my life is like a branch that is broken off and withers away.
Today I will go to God’s altar to share in His life-giving nourishment.
