One purpose of algorithms in AI is to encourage continual and increasing engagement for no other purpose than engagement—not self-improvement—which heightens the value of the AI tool to its developers. It is a form of manipulation, ever enticing us to invest more time and mental energy in its service.
The Bible, on the other hand, filled with the living Word of God, engages us not through manipulation but through spiritual attraction. It knows what we need for it is created by our Creator. We are drawn to it because it speaks to our soul and creates an inner longing to hear more, learn more.
When we look to the Bible for answers we receive the best direction imaginable, for when we ask we receive.
