(NB: this is one small, minor miracle in God’s guidance in the uniting of Isaac with Rebekah, preserving the purity of God’s chosen. It is best read in the whole of Chapter 24, using the Zondervan commentary. Note also that it is Abraham’s servant, not Abraham, who prays and receives guidance; it matters not what station we are in life.)
