Today I will commit to abide in Christ, to walk with Him everywhere, to seek Him as my constant companion: in sorrow and joy, in battles and triumphs, in confusion and certainty. He is always with me and in me; it is I who trail off. I pray that I do not hear Him ask, “will ye also go away?” (John 6:67.) And when I wander off, as I surely will, I know that He welcomes me back.
John 15:4
Abide in Me, and I will abide in you. A branch cannot bear fruit if it is disconnected from the vine, and neither will you if you are not connected to Me.
