I could never have imagined where I could be today based on my early years. That is the blessing of time directed by God. Where I once craved what the world promised, now I crave the promise of a loving God. When once I sought to optimize my search results on my business website, I now work to optimize my search for wisdom. And where LinkedIn was my business resumé, it is now directed to The Abundant Life.
Today I Will
Accept God’s Everlasting Love
Today I will dwell on the enormity of John 3:16. I may reconstruct it for myself:
for the gift of His only begotten Son and everlasting life that does not perish, I so love God and believe in Him.
Live Fully With Christ
Today I will affirm one of the realities of life: it is short and full of sorrows. With this in mind, the Christian response is the most practical and satisfying: live it fully with Christ as the core.
Accept Salvation By Faith, Not Works
Today I will accept salvation not by works but by faith, an entirely free gift from God. I will work less and accept more.
