Today I will accept despair as part of life, but also believe that I can offer it up on Christ’s altar where it can be accepted and redeemed. Then, with Christ’s help, I can move on to “the next thing” I am called to do. Trust Christ’s encouraging power and never let the failure of the past deter us from the positive actions we must do now (even if this means facing great challenges, as Christ rose to meet his betrayer).
