Today I will affirm Christ as my cornerstone. Christ will hold the various rooms of my life together. To build otherwise invites disaster. Consider the folly of building with other cornerstones like pride, power, money, prestige; the rooms would be misaligned and would surely crumble under the weight and pelting of life. And since Christ is the landlord of my life, from whom I rent my existence, why would I not want the most beautiful and stable foundation?
