Today I will seek the reality of Christ in my life and ask Him to open my eyes to the illusions of men. “Many of the cruel things in life spring from the fact that we suffer from illusions.” (Oswald Chambers) These illusions come from the demands of the human heart (ours included) which cannot be satisfied. We long for something we cannot have through our own efforts. “There is only one Being Who can satisfy the last aching abyss of the human heart, and this is the Lord Jesus Christ.” (Oswald Chambers). So let us trust on in the Lord.
John 2:24-25
But Jesus didn’t trust them, for he knew mankind to the core. No one needed to tell him how changeable human nature is!
