Today I will reflect on God’s purpose in giving me my life and the challenges that are part of it. Who am I as a child of God? The key question is, how has my life thrown some light on God’s glory? My life must be related to someone, not a some” thing.” It need not be monumental; most likely it is small and simple, like a cup of water offered to someone in need. Have I loved in all of love’s many forms? How has my life served others? What positive ripple have I created, beginning with family? Has my purpose been satisfied or is there more to come? So, at age 75, I will continue to reflect, pray, and act.

And Moses said to God, “Who am I?”

Today I will go to God’s altar to praise Him and to give thanks, regardless of my assessment of my life, for that is a good and right thing to do.
