Today I will keep my eyes on my Lord. This is practical wisdom. When engaged in a sport, look at the ball. When there is fear, look straight ahead. When there is confusion, focus. I will do this because His mercy is forever: mercy to guide, uphold, and strengthen. “O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever!” (Psalm 118:1)

Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, and as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, until He has mercy and loving-kindness for us.
