Today I will obey Christ’s command to pray, for “…by our meeting with God in prayer, God connects His work into our lives.” (Macosko, Jed). This connection is the foundation of our relationship, and our relationship is the foundation of our lives. We “live” on prayer, our daily bread. Prayer sustains us, nourishes us, guides and consoles us. Life without prayer is a wasteland.
