Lord, You are my God, my savior, my all. Deserving nothing and having nothing but myself to offer, I humbly come before you asking only to be awakened to your loving kindness this day.

Stop Fleeing From God
Today I will stop fleeing from God, as Jonah attempted. I will not resent His love for and mercy to those I envy or despise, as Jonah did.

Dwell In Peace
When my mind is filled with shrapnel-like thoughts—piecing, confusing, too many to confront at once—Lord help me to duck for cover behind the skills you have given me (and those only you provide) and decide which ones need to be addressed (and in what order) and which ones I can let fly over my head harmlessly. Help me to dwell in your peace.
