Today I will pray the Spirit to match (step-by-step, day-by-day) the total change in the way God sees me, through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, with a total change in my faith and life: to “crucify” the old me.
Galatians 2:20
I am crucified with Christ*: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
And with Christ in me, “all things are possible, even the impossible.”
Today I will lay upon God’s altar my un-crucified self and faith.
*To be “crucified with Christ” means the believer has been freed from the law and from the ruling power of sin that was aroused by the law.
