Today I will stay in the race and take what God offers. Life can be daunting and discouraging. This is why we must look for what God offers in the race He intends for each of us. It is too easy to be distracted by problems and not see the support that God has for us. “Just then God opened her (Hagar’s) eyes. She looked. She saw a well of water.” Genesis 21:19

Athletes in training are very strict with themselves, exercising self-control over desires, and for what? For a wreath that soon withers or is crushed or simply forgotten. That is not our race. We run for the crown that we will wear for eternity.
