Today I will reflect on the parable of my life and what simple message The Spirit is sending me. What truth about God’s kingdom is unfolding? To understand I must get alone with Christ and await the gift of the Spirit; this is the way God speaks to us.
Mark 4:10
When he was alone, the Twelve and the others around him asked him about the parables.
“When God gets us alone by affliction, heartbreak, or temptation, by disappointment, sickness, or by thwarted affection, by a broken friendship, or by a new friendship — when He gets us absolutely alone, and we are dumbfounded and cannot ask one question, then He begins to expound.” Chambers
Today I will spend time alone with God at His altar.
