Today I will seek Christ’s peace with His sword of truth. His sword is His Word and His words divide truth from untruth, light from darkness, faith from unbelief; He presents us with choices. There are happy pagans and comfortable atheists, so why do we need Christ in our lives? It is simply because His peace, joy, comfort, a truly abundant life and all other blessings are part of a higher standard we cannot obtain without Him, understand apart from Him, or fully experience separated from Him. What do we choose and whom do we follow?

Today I will look for Christ’s peace at His Father’s altar.
