Today I will take responsibility for my relationship to God-what I believe and how I shall act-and not fear to hear the voice of God speak to me. Unlike the Israelites at Sinai who were afraid to death of God as manifested in thunder, lightening, trumpets and smoke, and pleaded with Moses to speak in place of God, I call upon the Holy Spirit to strengthen me for God’s direction. This accountability is truly frightening, but what is the option?
Lord, speak that I may hear; hear that I may heed; heed that I may act; act that I may glorify You.
