Seek True Wealth
Today I will consider “fictitious wealth” (Chambers): fictitious happiness, safety, power, and prestige, and realize where true wealth resides. Even in times of want and worry, times when external circumstances are hard, I will reside in God’s fountain of joy which is true wealth.

Wisdom Transforms Memory Into an Angel of Comfort
“Memory is frequently the bond slave of despondency. There is, however, no necessity for this. Wisdom can readily transform memory into an angel of comfort. Let us open the volume of recollection which is so richly illuminated with memorials of mercy, and we shall soon be happy.” From Spurgeon’s Morning and Evening, May 28.
Your Grandpa Loves You
My friend, Sebastian, writes a daily blog to his 7 grandchildren. He has been doing this for years without interruption. With profound clarity and simplicity, Sebastian applies Holy Scripture in a way that makes sense to his grandchildren. He has allowed me to share his writings, below.
“All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.”
(John 6:37)
God the Father initiates salvation by drawing people to Jesus. It's a soothing promise that Jesus will never reject anyone who genuinely comes to Him in faith. This invitation is to everyone, regardless of their past, background, or sins.
It's so comforting and assuring to know that those who trust in Christ are permanently accepted and will not be driven away. He will be with us always and forever!
Your grandpa loves you.
