Today I will ask God to scour my heart, to fine what is impure and to cleanse it, that I may see Him at all times, in all situations and in all people.

How Much Higher Are God’s Thoughts Than Ours?
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
And my thoughts than your thoughts.
Isaiah 55:8-9
I have a very expensive, sophisticated camera. The manual is over 1,000 pages.
I am lucky if I know the basics for a simple photo. (Why I have this camera is a separate conversation.)
In other words, the camera’s thought are vastly higher than what my mind can comprehend. And this is only a camera.
We lose site of the distance between God and ourselves. It is beyond comprehension. So let’s just give God credit for something we can’t understand—beyond understanding—and let God be God and we be His humble, awe-struck, and obedient servants.
