Today I will beware the trap of knowing Christ doctrinally, theologically, intellectually, even religiously, but not knowing Him in person: not hearing His voice, not seeing Him in creation and the creative works of His servants, not feeling His healing touch, proclaiming Him but not acting on His call to service, resisting change.
Do I fail to see Him standing before me?
Who is the gatekeeper, the guardian to my soul? Christ or someone or something else?
John 10:3
The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep hear his voice and come to him; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
