I could never have imagined where I could be today based on my early years. That is the blessing of time directed by God. Where I once craved what the world promised, now I crave the promise of a loving God. When once I sought to optimize my search results on my business website, I now work to optimize my search for wisdom. And where LinkedIn was my business resumé, it is now directed to The Abundant Life.
Today I Will
Seek To Know God And Christ
Today I will seek to know God and Christ that I may have eternal life. This knowledge goes beyond intellectual awareness to encompasses experience, intimacy, obedience and a soul-embracing commitment.
Count The Cost
Today I will begin to count the cost of not daily surrendering to God’s will. It is simply too great a price to pay to follow my will and not His, for I will lose everything of real value.
Point To The God Of The Bible
Today I will be the disciple by pointing others (and myself!) to the God the Bible reveals, to the life that beckons us, to the glory that awaits, to the freedom that is available, and to the strengths that are found along the way.
