Today I will build my life upon this decisive factor, that God is with me and will rescue me, as He proclaimed to Jeremiah. 

Jeremiah 1:8
Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue (protect, deliver) you,” declares the Lord.
NIV

We are not promised ease, comfort, freedom from pain, or even justice in this world, only that God will be will us. So we must hold the things of this world lightly.

Today I will travel the path to God’s altar confident only in Him and that He will rescue me.
