Today I will maintain my faith through the inevitable confusions of life. By faith I will be led through the confusion and learn of God’s purpose.
The confusion often lies in the nature, timing, and extent of God’s response to our questions, fears, and uncertainties. What Christ is telling us in the two parables is to stand firm, that our Father God’s response will be greater than any human response we can imagine.
“There is a cloud on the friendship of the heart, and often even love itself has to wait in pain and tears for the blessing of fuller communion.” Chambers, Utmost September 12
Luke 11:13
“… how much more shall your heavenly Father give…?”
Luke 18:7
“And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones,”
Today I will look past my confusion to the clarity at God’s altar.
