Today I will focus on the temptations that can kill the soul, the temptations to sever my relationship with God. My armor is prayer and the Holy Spirit within me to alert me to the threats and to intercede for me. And this is possible because Christ is my High Priest.
Hebrews 4:15
For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize and understand our weaknesses and temptations, but One who has been tempted [knowing exactly how it feels to be human] in every respect as we are, yet without [committing any] sin.

Today I will pray for the wisdom and strength to resist the temptations that would keep me from God’s altar.
